Singapore is home to a vibrant and diverse performing arts scene, filled with artists and stories that deserve to be seen beyond our shores.

Singapore Spotlight aims to create opportunities for Singapore-based artists to connect with international audiences, artists and industry.

Beginning with the Edinburgh Festival Fringe in 2025, Singapore Spotlight brings together performances, artists and creative voices from Singapore, creating a collective presence within one of the world’s largest arts festivals. Through showcasing work, building partnerships, facilitating conversations and creating opportunities for exchange, we aim to strengthen the relationship between Singapore’s performing arts community and the international arts sector.

But Singapore Spotlight is beyond festivals.

We want to support Singapore based performances as they travel beyond our shores, connecting artists with new audiences, collaborators, programmers around the world. At the heart of this is a desire to celebrate Singaporean culture overseas, sharing the richness, diversity and creativity of Singapore’s arts scene with international audiences.

Singapore Spotlight is a platform for artists to travel, stories to travel, and Singaporean creativity to make its mark internationally.
